Observations on Listening: In Audio Pursuit of the Big Fish
This is a letterpressed and silkscreened book edition about listening to audiobooks with original text and excerpts from Moby Dick by Herman Melville. This book is a pocket book form by Hedi Kyle and is a collaboration with book artist Macy Chadwick of In Cahoots Press.

This book was a continuation of my exploration of how we experience audiobooks differently than we do traditional reading. We riffed on the idea of falling in and out of focus– an audio story requires careful listening. Keeping focus we saw as as a sort of chase or dance, like pursuing a big fish who peaks out and dives down behind these translucent blue pages.
